About the Property
Camp Lodestar occupies 450 acres of rich meadow and woodlands with varied ecological environments steeped in the history of the Mother Lode country.
Camp Lodestar offers diverse plant and animal life, Indian grinding rocks, and the middle fork of the Mokelumne River flows right through camp.

Location
We offer a remote and beautiful natural and wooded location. It is just 35 minutes from Jackson, 2 hours from Sacramento, and about an hour and a half from Stockton.
Groups often come to Camp Lodestar because of its natural beauty. We hope you will enjoy the peace, too.

We are open to all types of groups who want to rent our facility, whether it be a family reunion, a youth or adult retreat, or a religious or secular group. Join us for the day or stay overnight.

There are 100 beds available in the winter months and 165 available in warmer weather.

Yes!
We have two kitchens for smaller group use. Guests may also rent the commercial kitchen in the Dining Hall.

The Dining Hall is the primary indoor meeting space and is free of additional charges.
All our meeting areas are included in the cost of lodging.

Yes!
There are 3-4 small indoor break-out rooms and plenty of outdoor breakout and group gathering spaces.

Activities: walking trails, volleyball, campfire circle, seasonal swimming pool, low and high ropes course, basketball area, horseshoes, ping pong, and a play structure.

I-House, the Dorms, and Toad Hall are accessible by ramp.
The Dining Hall is accessible.

We provide lifeguards.
If you want to bring your lifeguard, please ensure they bring a current certificate.

We do not have a chapel, though an outdoor amphitheater is a great alternative, weather permitting.
